Overview
NRTshop uses a third-party age verification service, Blue Check, to ensure that all customers purchasing nicotine replacement therapy products are 21 or older.

We know that privacy and convenience are important to you, and have carefully selected Blue Check to protect your privacy.  Blue Check is so easy to use, most customers will not even know they have been age verified.

Checkout Age Verification
For most customers, Blue Check can confirm age with your checkout information.
Blue Check compares your information against identity databases, and can usually verify you are 21 or older.  If they need more information, a screen appears to guide you through an Alternative Age Verification.

Alternative Age Verification
After this one time process, your account at NRTshop will be age verified.
• Securely uploading an image of a valid, unexpired government issued identification document (driver license, state id, passport).
• Facial/Biometric Analysis: Comparing the user's face to the photo on the ID.

What happens to your paid order
Once Blue Check confirms you are 21 or older, they send a confirmation message to our website. NRTshop can then process your order.

If age verification was not completed, NRTshop will review your order before shipping.  We will cancel and refund your order if we determine that you are under 21, and send an email to let you know.

How Blue Check Protects Your Data
Blue Check operates under a strict data retention and privacy policy.
• Images and documents uploaded for verification are deleted after processing.
• Only the minimum data required to confirm your age is processed.
• Blue Check does not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Legal Compliance
By using Blue Check, we aim to be in full compliance with laws and regulations for age gating and online age verification, including but not limited to the U.S. Age Appropriate Design Code (AADC) or relevant state laws.
